Every member of the IT department has a role to play in the provision of IT services to their customers.

 This responsibility is more acceptable if the staff acknowledge the disciplines of service management and fully appreciate why they have been implemented.

The Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management demonstrates this level of understanding of the Service Management disciplines.

There is also a Manager's Certificate in IT Service Management (Service Support / Service Delivery) for experienced IT professionals, who will be involved in the implementation and/or management of service management functions.
